Description
Bazze's u-boat model is of U-99, commanded by Otto Kretschmer, the most successful naval commander in history. Captured by the British in 1941, he survived to later become a commander of NATO forces. Kretschmer was master of the night surface attack. Surfaced, the u-boat was undetectable by ASDIC (SONAR), and its low silhouette was all but invisible. Poser 6/Vue 8.

grea render, you made a gramatical error though, its all but visible if you meant it was hard to spot :P , just my 2 cnts .
beautiful work!
Nice render. Thanks for filling me in on what happened to Otto Kretschmer. Although a painful experience to be captured, it was a blessing in disguise. The u-boats were difficult to detect on the surface until radar was installed on convoy escorts. Then came air surveilance which could detect them even when submerged, bringing the u-boat's heyday to an end. Nearly 3/4 of all crews died at sea. By the way, if you're interested in doing another battleship, I can send you a few drawings of the Ohio class (also known as the Montanas). I have drawings on some other ships as well. Keep up the good work! :)
Super moody lighting and historical references!!!
Well done, well done indeed! Thanks!
