Description
For those that were waiting for the first chapter of my Journeys of Shelby Bly (Shelby Bly is the chick in the picture) I have some news. I posted it at my website and got some very useful feedback which pointed out some of the weak points and errors I had made in the story. I am now working on a new and improved story so it's going to be another week or so before I have something ready to show you. Sorry about that, but I promise it will be worth the wait. :)
I mainly made this image to test out my skills with Poser's atmosphere feature. The beam of light coming from the flashlight is NOT post work. It's a spotlight positioned on top of the flashlight prop with the atmospheric settings turned on. The only post work I did was the glyphs and a couple overlays to "age" the picture. If it looks too dark, I need to adjust my monitor. :)

FANTASTIC.
Great image, the addition of the glyphs really is superb and the beam of the flashlight is just great! Awesome job.
Like the look on her face!! Nice work!!
Excellent!
Great work...
WOW Lizzie! Wonderful work on this. Great job with the flashlight. Looking forward to your featured presentation.
excellent - wonderfully done lighting and setting
Very nice work!
Well, this looks really great, Lizzie! Very interesting information about the beam of light - I'm going to have to play with that.... I still consider myself a beginner with Poser, and tips like this are beyond valuable. I just completed a page in my own series, and a flashlight was a large part of the setting (inside a darkened warehouse). The flashlight is an intelli-prop (a freebie here on Rendo) with a built-in spolight, but the flashlight beam was done in Photoshop. I'm going to have to mess with this atmospheric setting you mentioned. Thanks for that! I'll have to check out your website again when I'm not working (which isn't much anymore). Looking forward to Shelby's adventures!
