Description
The foxes at the beach by Winthrop Harbor Marina.
They've got more than enough fresh water than they could ever want (Lake Michigan); nearby fields with voles, field mice, and ground squirrels (IL Beach State Park); and fresh eggs for the picking thanks to Canada Geese and gulls. Why wouldn't that make a nice place to put a den? As long as people and their dogs don't mess with them, these foxes have got it made.
