Description
The storm had moved the bin and disturbed this little big fellow, the other day. I took advantage of its situation and let it go again. The purple fabric is my sweater. :-) Beautiful, isnt it? I mean the LARVA of course, LOL!

Have a lovely weekend.
We have very nice weather and it should last all day. Good, because I will have nice visitors today, so I will be busy and also late with my commends.
Thank you very much for viewing and commenting on my previous post and special warm thanks to those, who added it to their favorites. :)

Beautiful. This looks like a hawk moth caterpillar.
Jayfar, I looked the name up and I am so amazed, even though I dont think it is such caterpillar. Fantastic how they can play tricks on the enemy. Some look like little rodents, other look exactly like a bird. Fantastic :-) http://www.google.dk/images?q=hawk+moth&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:da:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=I7t4TO6UKorHswawtpSyDQ&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CCIQsAQwAA&biw=1024&bih=566

Sensational macro my Dear Helle! I really do like the colours, the lilac is ever so pretty and the clarity is of intense quality! I like what you have done showing it from the different angles... it really is an interesting looking critter, particularly at full view!
This is a great macro Helle, and what a lovely contrast in colors
Excellent macro and beautiful collage !
what a nice little critter!!!!! FANTASTIC photos!!!!!!!
Excellent macros on it, I like how it's strips match your sweeter. :)
Oh good heavens! What a shamelessly beautiful creature! WOW! I'm so glad you captured this, and I am quite impressed that he (she) has chosen to wear stripes that match your sweater. I've never seen this species before, and I'm quite anxious to see one live and in person. How exquisitely beautiful! These are brilliant, and the details are perfect. WOW! I always knew babies were cute, but this really proves that fact!
Like this a lot. What a cute little thing. Like the color of your sweater as well. When I first clicked on the thumbnail I had the absurd thought: Hmmmmmm, I didn't know there were purple deserts, must be South America! I have a strange mind. Great shot!
Your sweater really shows him off beautifully. Great shots.
wow some awesome shots of this fascinating catterpillar, Helle!
