Description
Hello everyone and thanks for looking...
I'm still playing around with Image Based Lights, and this was done using the Ambient Occlusion IBL package that came with Poser. When you open up the IBL light in the poser material room it shows the image it's applying to the light. It's a picture of a reflective ball set in some location. Can anyone tell me more about how this works? Can I use any image in the IBL or do I have to use sphere shape? Can I cheat and use the Photoshop Spherize tool? Are there any tutorials out there that are worth the time?
Thanks friends, I appreciate your help.

As SaintFox--Meike--she makes her own IBL lights all the time. I did some experimenting, but in my version of Poser, monkeying with the lights is one of the only ways I can make it crash ;) But apparently you can also take a camera and one of those gazing balls and make a nice light scheme that way, or like you say, use the Spherize filter. But to start I'd be tempted to steal and copy Poser's own IBL light mat, rename it and reapply it after fooling with it, and see what happens. That way it should be the right size and format, at least!
Very nice.
Very good character and outfit.
Beautiful!!
