Description
From wing-tip to wing-tip only 10 millimetre.
I just love this tiny moth. Look how detailed it is. I know I have posted them before, but I think they are fantastic beautiful and now you have the chance to see it from the opposite side. =FULL SIZE= is needed.
Have a lovely day.
We have a lovely sun this morning and I have taken the big mullein out of the soil and to a place, where it can dry off, so the seed will(hopefully) dry. I am afraid all this rain will spoil the seed. I havent got much knowledge of this plant....or of any other, for that matter, but I am doing my best.
Thank you so much for viewing and commenting on my previous post and special warm thanks go to those, who added it to their favorites. :)

10mm??? It is so tiny!!! What a glorious little creature Helle and you have done a marvelous job with photographing it!!! Well done dear friend!
This is a beautiful treatment, it makes a nice change to have a plain background, as it shows the moth in all its glory.
Amazing!
This is a fantastic image very well done.
What an amazing capture Helle, you did wonderful
That is gorgeous! Those wings almost look like feathers of a birds wing!
Gosh, Helle! this is so amazing! The wings are like a golden fan of feathers and set against the black, it radiates such amazing grace!
stunning macro!
Beautiful. Like feathers!
Superb macro, reall sunning details! :)
Interesting insect. Primitive looking wings like those of thrips, yet it's part of the moth family. From the wikipedia article, this species likes honeysuckle. And the pic is very nice too. It shows the detail.
what a beauty!!!!!! Gorgeous photo!!!!!!!!
Wonderful shot, and a beautiful presentation! Very nicely done.
Wow, very beautiful, amazing that the wings are actually feathers ;o)))))))))
Very small and too unwilling to photos (at least here)! Photos of beautiful and rich details! Wonderful capture and shot ! My photo today follows the action forum.
beau papillon!!
Amazing capture of this tiny creature! The wings look like metallic embroidery and show up superbly against the black background. Beautiful light and detail!
This is well done and the little critter is lovely.
WOW! What an amazing creature! What details! What a brilliant shot! WOW! And it's funny, also, because when I was a child, I was always fascinated by the wooden clothes-pins my grandmother had from when she hung her laundry on a line to dry naturally in the wind. It looks like this lovely little moth is wearing one of those clothes-pins on its nose! Naturally that made me laugh! Amazing work! I can never see too many of these beauties, and also good luck with the plant. I am sure that some of the seeds will survive. Also, don't mulleins attract a similar moth to this? I am not certain but I think so; they are quite small, if I am not mistaken.
Beautiful !!!!!
this is an amazing and excellent shot, Helle! And you are so right, they are fascinating!
