We are all very upset as we had to let little Bernie go today. Helen (Mikes wife) came out to him, she was very kind & gentle. He was 19 but his age doesn't make it any easier. Sleep well little Bern, thanks for sharing your life with us. xxxx

Sorry for your loss. Had one terrier mix live to the age of 15, and no, it is never easy. He had a great life, and that is what to look at, and keep the memory.

Bernie is in the happy hunting ground and will wait for you. so sorry about losing him. it dowsn't matter wheather they are young or adult like Bernie it is still hard to lose a family member. my condolences. give a hug and a kiss to the girls as they will miss him.

So sorry to hear this news Barbara what a sad day for yourself and the girls and your family. 19 years is a long time for a cat but not nice to have to see them go. We had a cat that was about 19 but he had arthritis in his back legs. When we were packing to move, about a week before the shift he just disappeared we looked but couldn't find him anywhere. I think he knew we were moving and thought to himself it was going to be to much and went off to die somewhere.. We later heard that cats will do this.. Hugs to you and the girls Barbara..

Oh Barb, my hear aches for all of you. But I am so glad Bernie was able to be at home where the last things he would hear and see and smell where the beloved companions of his life, and the comforts of his home. He was a very special kitty to live with all those girls, and he had a very special family. He couldn't have found a better home then the one he had with you. God Speed Bernie, may you chase birds and butterflies and clouds and stars, and may you run freely through the skies.
