Hi there.
If we all learned in our youth - clean your hands well after lunchtime - this ladybug learns how to act as a lady would do.
It's a Harmonia axyridis I think, native in eastern Asia but now they can be found in Europe and North America too. I heard they where imported because of they eat up to 250 aphids on one day and where used as a biological weapon against them. The colors of this species is various and so they called also Harlequin ladybird. (Source: Wikipedia)

Oh yes, we have the asian species here in germany, too. But I think they share their food well with our native ladybugs, cause I see them both here all the time :o) A wonderful picture and great macro, you've really captured a special scene. Well done! ~Sassy~

Beautifully detailed macro. Wonderful clarity and its great you have a reduced shine on it as I have found they often reflect so much light they end up with a sun spot on their shell.
