What a BEAUTY :) We have a lot of Blue Heron up here...in summer :)
Nice photo Lyla...I see quite a few of these around my house, and often watch them feeding along the riverbank. Brian
Nice photo. We have these at the hosp I work at.
excellent photo!
Great photo. Lovely catch of reflections
That is quite a capture. They are amazing birds, but hope they stay away from my fish pond. We did have a great white egret visitor a few times.
This is stunning---everything about it is simply beautiful!!
That happened to me the last time I was on the golf course! :-) Excellent view of the feathers and the pose is lovely.
bonne photo!!
Wonderful photo, Lyla!!
Great capture, Lyla. How did you persuade the bird to pose so perfectly? Beautiful!
a lovely photograph!
Very nice pic of a Great Blue Heron!
Well observed, Lyla. There are lots of lovely natural detail, and the ripples on the surface of the water are quite fresh too ... ;o) Most of the wild birds I observed on my gran's farm, in the Glens of Antrim, Northern Ireland, are missing now. Different farming methods, different crops, different food. Jackdaws and their ilk seem to rule the roost now. I remember that one summer we did have an American sea eagle, that must have been blown across the Atlantic in a storm, hunting lambs on my mother's cousin's hill farm. That would be about 1964 or so. Thanks for your kind comments, and, having had a look at your gallery, for sharing your photos and renders on RENDEROSITY too, Lyla. Warm regards, from a chilly Glasgow, Scotland as we hope the snow will not quite reach us this weekend, John.
