This spider was just outside my front door, happily content, enjoying the warm summer sun...
Because I had to stand on my front door steps to take this photo I could not use a tripod...

great macro!
I hate the spiders and i had many this summer and they always comeback! Superb capture :)
This is a great shot and I'm slightly jealous, since the orb spinners near me aren't nearly as cooperative as this one...whenever I point a camera at them, they curl their legs up and look about as exciting as a lump in a spiderweb! Arrrrgh! But THIS is an excellent capture, and I love the details right down to the patterned, vaguely translucent legs. Orb spinners are such fascinating spiders, and this is a superb shot! Fantastic!
This is a superb shot. Great work.

cool shot
even a slight breeze can cause a web to be out of focus as well the spider.did you send him on his way or allowed him to be a natural insecticide
Ohhhh, most excellent! I hope it continues to hang around and keep your house bug free. : )
