Description
The USS Essex entering orbit around Mars on mans second expedition to the red planet. This will be a whole new series showing mans first attempt at terraforming before colonization. This is a work in progress. The picture of Mars was ascertained from JPL/NASA. The model of the Essex was created in Bryce 5 from scratch. All concepts and designs by me, post work starfield created in Universe. This picture is for my Bro Steve Winter (LordOfDragons) where ever you are; hopefully to be back soon with some great new images. Excellent ship! Great image!
Love the detail on the ship.
Great work as usual...I love the Mars mat and that ship!!Excellent
This is the best Mars Bryce image I've seen in a long time. One small problem: the ambience on the dark side of Mars is bit too high. Lower its ambience to create a dark shadow look. Another suggestion is to add a sphere a tad, tad, tad slightly bigger than the Mars sphere to create a reddish-orange hazy atmosphere (like a glow but not too bright). Great image! Keep Brycing! :o)
the first 20 pics of this ship were interesting, now it's only wasting space. if you feel compelled to draw spacecraft, please design new ones, instead of drawing the same one over and over.
Very beautiful image! Fantastic artwork! Excellent composition! Very good picture!
