Description
The hotel "Zum Ritter" in the old city of Heidelberg was build in the year 1592. In the great fire of 1693 almost the whole city was destroyed. This building survived the fire because it was built entirely of stone. Most of the other buildings were built from wood.
Thanks for looking.

A beautiful old building still going strong and you have captured it nicely too.
Splendid image! That is some contrast between the alte Zum Ritter and the rest of the buildings surrounding it, Klaus.
