Great capture! Seems to be a little past it's prime, but more should come. :) Not mine! Two weeks of no sunshine and raining every day did them in. :( All I have is pictures to remember them by.
Marvelous work, and although it may be flawed this is such a superb macro of it.
Just the perfect choice of tone... Excellent work ! :~)

real wonderful looking
Outstanding work!
Great shot Wendy. It instantly made me think of a friend of mine who bought a VW beetle last year. It came with a vase on the dash with one pastic gerb in it! It's still there only now it is caked in dust!!!!
Fantastic work.
Looks like ME this morning .. extremely FLAWED!!! LMAO!!!!!! Actually, this is great Wendy; and isn't Photoshop a blast??? It's neverending, all the things you can learn. Google the tuts, they're out there.
A stunner!
first time to see such a color.outstanding macro
Looking at this shot and comparing it to the title, I can see the connection...in a sort of Japanese-pottery sort of way. Ha! How's that for the opening line to a comment? Anyway, I love this shot and the work you've done on it! On a level it vaguely recalls Lomography (photography with a cheap, wonky-on-purpose Lomo camera) but it lacks the...well...wonkiness of lomography; instead it's elegant and quite emotionally-stirring--like Japanese pottery: something incredibly beautiful with a single "flaw" intentionally worked into it, and an homage to the randomness of nature. Okay...my mind goes off in odd directions at times, but in this case, I rather like the associations this triggers. For me, that's a sign of artistic success on your part...and well...this image itself IS a sign of artistic success. Great work.
interesting focus point and choice of color... great dramatic effect!
Very nice shot. Aloha
great shot, it looks very delicate and sad. great details!
