Description
This is Gary's house with two of his chairs next to me on this little lava mound. He's a carpenter by trade and built this little two story house. At the time this picture was taken, lava was coming down the road and headed towards his house. We were hoping that it would just stop or go around his house. It didn't. There was no news media people around when his house caught on fire. But I was told that Gary did make a contract with one of his friend photographers Leigh Hilbert regarding pictures of his house on fire.
