Description
Title: Make No Mistake FBP
this is a Fantasy picture I made of a Mermaid who was located in the Gulf... The Oil almost choked her to death as she swam for the oil covered beaches.
I used poser6, V3, I painted in the tail and the oil on the body. In postworkshop I used in the dark, photo glow and sharpen.
This Image was for the Fantasy vs Sci Fi Contest that just Announced the Winners today - I didn't place, but this and the next four images I was inspired to do - I live in Colorado, far away from any Oceans, but this Oil drilling problem really upset me - how much lives were lost on this planet because of it?
A four part series starring the girl is to follow.

Wow. Mike. You've really hit the nail on the head with this one. I love it. What a great poster this would make, or an ad on TV about this disaster and the lives that have been lost because of oil spills and greed. Sigh. Beautiful work Mike, just beautiful.
Mike, what's going on with your artworks lately? The moment I looked at your artwork I KNEW what you're aiming at and it made me cry. Thankfully one of my cats came this moment to distract me.... Though I don't live near the gulf (I live in europe), I'm really REALLY upset about these mangy guys from BP.... how could they just think of money and destroy so much, KILL so many animals and lifeforms?!?!? No more words needed - except that I don't buy anything anymore and never again from BP petrol stations. Period. ~Sassy~
