Description
Namibia 2009
This is the very start of the sand (dune) desert of the Namib just south of the Swakop River. It is incredible how the river literally splits the two parts of the desert in two! I have captured this image on my 2009 trip.

Remarkable photo. It must be an amazing place
Wow, this is simply gorgeous. What an amazing place!!
I'll never get tired of your Namibia shots! This is amazing and I love the whole sense of inviting bleakness of it! Is there even such a thing as inviting bleakness? Well, there is now! I love that sweeping dune going off to the right and the gnarly branches on the left; there's a lot of drama in that particular connection and the clouds above just add to that. This is incredibly well seen and well captured. Yeah, this is gorgeous!
absolut wonderful Carin !!!
Gorgeous in zoom mode. I love how the dunes change color the further out they are. Dana
