Very cool capture of some amazing critters!
You are a brave soul--I don't think I could get this close!!
Looks like Madbat's family! Great capture
WOW.....so scary....fantastic shot!
Family of Bats.... Kewl find. Aloha
Once, someone who thought they were doing a good thing, brought me a sack of these bats and asked me to relocate them...well I guess I did because he put them in a birdcage in my garage. The next morning I went to check on them before taking them out to the river and they were all gone! Fit right through those cage bars. I never looked too hard for them...I'm not a big fan of bats up close, although I've had a few encounters with them in the wild. great find and great shot.
This shot drives be batty! Nice!
bonne photo!!
This is very interesting and thanks for sharing this with us all.
Excellent capture!!
I think these are kind of cute. Recently I saw some at the zoo, but the lighting was so bad I could not use the pics.

WOW, creepy, to see this. Amazing captured by you, Dana!!
Did you go into the cave? You could upload it again the other way up for a fun image :o)
Such a cool capture.
POOR BATS, THEY GOT A FLASH IN THE EYES! ;D GREAT SHOT
COOOOOOOOOOOOOL Capture :)
Very nice capture! Where was this, Dana? I wouldn't go seeking bats out, but I've seen a few brown bats, the kind we usually see in NH and they were actually pretty cute...like brown mice with wings. I know that the bats in New England are threatened by a virus and is has wiped out huge colonies of bats. People don't realize how much bats are truly our friends. The amount of bugs they can eat is stunning. Nice shot!
Cool cave capture, Dana! Oh boy, Count Dracula and his minions catching up on their beauty sleep. Actually, bats get a lot of bad press. They do use sonar in flight and control the insect population after leaving their cave. And is there anything MrsLubner hasn't experienced?
What a wonderful shot! Great details!
Oh Wow This is a Cool shot and very close up!!
Wow! Great capture! :)
Nope, creepy! That big fat one in the back looks ready to attack. You are brave. Rats with wings what a horrible thought. Still a great shot.
A nice shot of bats , In the UK bats are a protected species and you are not allowed to handle them.
WOWWWW :)
