The psychology of this piece is beyond the scope of words. At least mine. I am both entralled and nauseous. An onyx bowl crawling with vipers which manage to exist in spite of their barbs? Or a tricky passage? It's like a dark dream that I don't want to end...

I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around this one... every time I look at it I want to turn my head one way or another, then crane my neck to see it from the side... Astounding!
And so you lend your pain to me. I let it wash over me and quiet me and bring tears to my eyes. I sleep curled in a ball and breath long, cold, slow breath and when I awaken I feel better for myself because you lent me your pain. Best of wishes to you and Colm. This is a very moving piece.
