Description

Thanks for all your comments on my last image :) Boring title and a kindof boring, plain room, but it was fun. :) Another image created after a couple hours of studying light again, but moreso trying to create a low poly, fast-rendering scene. With radiosity and some tweaking and low poly models, this rendered in about 5 minutes. :) Thanks for looking!

The result is really good and is especially interesting because of the rendering time. What practical use have a picture that takes 11 hours to render? Very little IMO.

With as much detail as can be seen in this picture, the low poly figures allow for a lot of realism. And the low render time allows for some high poly figures to be used in the foreground without running into too long a render time, which is useful many times. I know I run into problems all the time because my computer can not deliver enough "power" to render what I want to render, and that is most often because there are too many maps to be read and to many polygons to be "counted".
