Description
It has been hot hot hot in the western corner of New York, in fact most of the north east of US is suffering from extreme heat. A walk in the creek was just what we needed to cool off. So Murphy, the camera, and I went for a little cooling walk-about.
So Nancy, hope some of this heat warms you! Even down in the creek it was hot, but the cool water felt so good on my feet, and Murphy sure enjoyed getting wet and cool too!
I thank you all so much for all the wonderful comments, and the faves, on the previous posting. Still working on catching up, I think it's a life's work, LOL, but a pleasant work, seeing all the beautiful art you've created!

Come visit me in the desert. Its REALLY hot here. Though we don't really have trees. Just Joshua Trees & they are mostly just big cactus. Gorgeous shot! ")

I look at this site and I am in awe, both of the land that you live near to and in your ability to capture it.... it's coolness and shadowy depths.
me as european when i hear new york i think of course on nypd,manhattan central park 5th avenue,maybe kojak lol, and all that. i was aware that there are surroundings because new york is not only the city but also a state. i was just not imagining that the places around are so nice as you demonstrate in your gallerie.indeed i would say a huge tribute to NY and the surroundings.fav.
