Description
The Yortown class fleet carrier CV-6 USS Enterprise with an air wing consisting of F2A Brewster Buffalos, SBC Helldivers, SB2U Vindicators and TBD Devastators is being refueled at quay number one at Ford Island in 1940.
si bien no se dejó a sí mismo sin testimonio, haciendo bien, dándonos lluvias del cielo y tiempos fructíferos, llenando de sustento y de alegría nuestros corazones.
Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

I like how the water feels like it has depth... I never looked at this ship as being anchient - 1940 was 70 years ago... and it was around before then? When does the USS ENTERPRISE turn 100? Is it still in commission? Maybe you can answer all this in your next upload... I alway thought the Enterprise was bigger/wider than this, but I guess I just never took the time to look at pictures - imagine that - lol... I spend a couple hours a day doing that now - lol
great pic...din't know you knew Spanish...
Really,really cool image.Just allround brilliant !!
Cool! Helldivers though? This grand lady survived WWII, only to be scrapped. I believe only her main mast survives, on the grounds at Annapolis.
