I think that I really catch the actual Mars soil, light and palette - the sky is less pink because the terraforming process.
Rendered in Bryce 6, composing, effects and color correction in Photoshop 6.

Fantastic image, but perhaps the astronaut seems a little out of proportions with the car.Superb terrain and structures in background. The pose of the vehicle rocks!! And the sky in Mars really is not pink,but pretty much like you did it. NASA wants (who knows for what dammned reasons) to make us believe that the sky is pink there, along with hiding the real interesting things from us...

hi, I agree you did a good job - but I would recommend to activate good old Photoshop and add some more realism - if you look at nasa photographs of the astronauts running around on the moon, you realize they have fairly dirty boots or even dusty trousers and if the rover has been driving around and not this minute droped into the picture, there should be dirt on the tires too keep up the good work juergen
