Description
Lately, I have not been posting images as often as usual. This is due to a number of factors. The weather has been very hot this month, other projects needed attention, and I have had little time to play with the camera or chase many bugs, lol. I do have a few new images I will be posting over the next few days but for tonight, I am posting a small group of old images.
Despite the many distractions, I did find time this month to submit 5 images to a local art event. It was an annual juried exhibit that included many mediums other than just photography.
Alas, none of my submissions were accepted for inclusion in the exhibit. Fame and fortune will have to wait for another day, lol.
So here are the 5 entries that were submitted. I decided to give them one more opportunity to be viewed. They were all posted here in '09 so you may recognize some of them.

I liked all five. The top POV of the "dragonfly" and the "turtle reflection" were my favorites. Dana

That turtle was one I always thought was the best ever done and I would be proud to have that hanging in my home. All are great!
In the end these judgements are always subjective. I remember all these and paricularly like the dragonfly top right!
It is a good selection, I gave up ages on on competitions, I prefer here because you can get feedback.

The turtle is a winner IMHO, but each image is excellent in its own right.
Agreed- the turtle simply stands out. All of your work is very enjoyable. Those folks must be blind or have close friends they want to cater to. Head high- your friends here are very partial to your work.

Well i will be damned. I cannot believe that your work has been rejected. You do take amazing pictures. Just keep on submitting when there is such opportunities again. Never give up. God Bless.
