Description
The Golden Nugget, Las Vegas, Nevada, is a luxury casino-hotel located in Las Vegas, Nevada on the Fremont Street Experience. It is the largest casino, in the original downtown area, with a total of 2,300 deluxe guest rooms and suites. It has also maintained AAA's Four Diamond rating consecutively for 32 years starting in 1977. The Golden Nugget was originally built in 1946, making it one of the oldest casinos in the city. The structure overhead is known as the Fremont Street Experience canopy and there are light shows up there every night.
The world's largest gold nugget, called the Hand of Faith, because of its shape, is displayed in the Golden Nugget lobby. Weighing 875 troy ounces (27.21 kg) and 18 inches (46 cm) in length, it was found near the Golden Triangle in Australia. Some information from Wikipedia.

Great shot. The Freemont Street Experience is a must-see for visitors to Las Vegas - away from the glitz and mega-resorts of the Strip Freemont street is the heart of old Las Vegas.
