Description
Hello everyone and thanks for looking...
While I was putting together this picture (several days back, when I had time) I was having a tough time coming up with a title for it. I finally settled on "Have Spacesuit, Will Travel", after the title of an old science fiction story from 1958. Does anyone out there remember who it's legendary author was? And for extra credit, what was the western TV show the name was borrowed from?
Yep, I think I'm showing my age with this, or at least my fondness for classic sci-fi and westerns. ^_^
Also, many many thanks to Chasfh and Kassie for the exceedingly cool Starman and Spacegirl suits. They were perfect for this picture and really nicely made sets.
Thanks again for all your comments. They're very much appreciated. Have a great weekend...

Fantastic and I loved reading the various responses here, learning about this novel and show. I love Heinlein! Cool spacesuits!
and barry gives us all the explanations and the abouts of the series. well done. chasf has stunning packages indeed.
Have spacesuit, will travel .....one of my Heinlein favs
Apart from the womans pose, this could be an illutration for a 50ties or sixties Scifi book. The womans pose more belongs to the 80ties or 90ties. Good genre picture.
Superb scene !!
Awesome scene!
EXCELLENT
excellent sci-fi render, awesome concept and design, great coloring and textures! i believe it was 'have gun, will travel'!:)*5
have gun, will travel... don't know nothing else... my tooth hurts, I'm in pain... pain on the brain... what was you question? LOL ...Image looks sweet! You aught to do a 1960s space comic - you have the title, now travel - lol
Great work!!
Great work. I love the title and yep, used to watch Have gun, will Travel.
Very retro, I like it!
With a full tank of O2 there ain't nowhere we can't go! Great scene!
Great retro styling - superb!
Love the picture! That was one of my favorite books when I was a kid. I still have an original print hard back of "Red Planet" by Heinlein.
Gorgeous piece of work!!
