Description
I have wanted to do a water render for a while but didn't have a pool So I flipped The temple of the Pharoas 180 and filled the roof with water I used Forgotten dynasty's to map the walls which had to be flipped as well. Two bulbs where placed on the staff one to create the shadow and the other general lighting, plus star effect.
A third spot was use to fake the caustics using a light gel.
DMR Ella and Eweyai top, Antons Egytian head piece
Any other methods for water rendering would be greatly appreciated!

You made a very magic looking scene, pose & lightning!!! Have a pleasant day, hug’s Ute
awesome water pov,very well done
This turned out really nice. Great water caustics!
For rendering water, the shader should have an index of refraction (water preset), reflection (I need to fiddle with fresnel to get the right setting for angle of reflection) and in the render tab way at the bottom enable caustics.
Well done.
Fantastic work, great water effect!!!!! Hugs:)
Turned out well Nick, isn't there a water feature in Carrara?
There are many different ways to simulate water in Carrara with shaders and with caustics The problem for me is Caustics take for ever and as I work from a laptop I find it frustrating! Now that would possible be the best option, if you want caustics, but I would like to hear about other methods of representing water in any application.
This is wonderful my friend!!!Great work!!!
Great render and great water effects!
Fantastic work Nick! This turned out really well. I work in DAZ and still haven't gotten the hang of water.
Excellent beautiful work! nice pose.
Nice one!
A take on lady of the lake? A lot of creative work went into this image, the flip and the lighting. "Only" the refraction index is lacking. It can be done in poser but I have no idea for Carrara.
Splendid image....I feel like a swim now :)
Wow, a fantastic work on this one and clever idea about flipping the background to create your own pool.
Very cool, the light gel effect seems to work very well
