Description
This is a photo I took on the drive home from Washington of Mt. St. Helens. I've entered this in our local fair. Not sure it's worth it, but I thought I'd give it a try. :)
Thanks for looking.

Looks so peaceful, but sure wasn't some 25 years ago. The caved in side attests to that violent eruption. The photo is very well done and an attestation to life's ability to return despite catastrophes. Keep up the good work! :)
Pretty scenery and good luck with your entry... I plan to do the same this year at our fair.
impressive nature! RS
Wow sunshine; You take the photo this year? (GRIN) King 5 reported 1" above normal rainfall for June, 5 degree cooler (avg)for June, TWO days above 70 so far and we have yet to hit 75 for the year... Nice pic of the mountain
I heard Mt. St. Helens is making some rumbling as if preparing for another eruption. This is an awesome shot of this active volcano. I'd like to know where you found the sunshine, too. ;c) We were in Seaside, Oregon, for eight days, and traveling around the area not long ago.
Wonderful capture! We had a lovely winter here ... you must have been here then, before the rain settled in!
