Description

A quick post to let everyone know I'm back in the building. Will be trying to put things back on track the next day or two and in that time shall visit all whom have kindly left their mark in my gallery. Have just finished the Nikon transfer program. Their being some 1200 plus images must have taxed the transfer some as they are completely out of order. It may take me a day or two getting that straightened out. ;~), especially with the kids being out of school now. Wanting to post the images in some semblance of chronological order to the hike. Yet I find myself overly anxious to post a sandstone image. Have chosen this as an innocuous start though it is out of order. The title chosen here is a cliche of the old brain teaser, "Is it half empty or half full" Whether your a viewer, commented, rater, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you.

Should mention being a couple hundred feet above these tepees. They are not as small as the image makes them to be. The tree between the two is 6 or 7 meters tall and at least 4 meters in diameter.

What a fascinating and special landscape. Never seen such as before. Amazing colors and figures. btw my answer on your question about the Aconitum. It's the Aconitum Napellus. But it's the special pov and light, that made my photo look different, as all them who you can see on, f.e. Google-search. I went down on my knees and tried to catch the low evening light.
