You did a very nice work.
Fantastic scene....
Great image, love the flak burst FX.
Lovely work,I have got a beautiful freebie B17, but it's in 3ds Max...I wish I could convert it..as I haven't got Max. Looks well in Bryce
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Attention to detail is excellent. So many of these from our fellow artist either carry the same tail numbers or the props are all in the same position. U Dun Gud! lol This is excellent. Flak burst and the altitude haze (especially in war time Germany) are realistic.
Excellent Colin - looks spot on - hope your well - keep up the bryce... Rick
Very nicely done!
Very convincing
An excellent piece. Extremely atmospheric. I can see you've actually thought about aircraft differing from each other. Now you need to dirty them up a bit, you know, exhaust muck, footprints, damage etc. What people don't realise is that the weather over wartime Europe was usually pretty rotten, clear days were few and far between. The height these guys flew at invariably meant that they rarely saw the ground clearly, merely bombing to orders. (Pity the poor sods below getting the hammering).
I accept that most of the time visibility was crap – I live in Scotland so I have a pretty good idea about what the Northern European climate is like! However i have photographic evidence of 8th Air Force missions where clear conditions did occasionally exist over Europe – and these are the conditions I wanted to reproduce.
