Lovely collage like the mark on the wall of the Sept 2008 floods a devastating time.
Yes, IKE was mean! Worst hurricane I experienced in 20 yrs. I was blessed though.
Excellent place and presentation!!!
Excellent
Really nice looking picture!
Fantastic captures, Cheryl!
Cheryl, you've managed to take the memory train back to an earlier day, I used to play chess on a similar board, while in Germany. I enjoy vicariously you taking me along with you! Very nicely done!! -Paul
beautiful work sis
Very interesting and special collage. Love to see this.
Funny, but I didn't venture down to The Strand while there. We drove right past it. :-) I was there when my son got married in the Catholic church there and we had a nice little reception upstairs in one of the historical buildings. But it was turned into something rather tourist-like and being from the area, all those trappings and ways to get my money seemed to hold me off. I see that I missed a lot of really cool stuff with my hard-headed attitude! Love the collage. (I saw several buildings with those water marks and it was sad to think The Island was covered so completely with ocean)

this can't be Galveston... I don't see Glen Campbell! LOL
I see I'll have to spend a little longer and come in from the beach the next time I go there! Beautiful collage full of interesting things! Sad to see the water lines. Fortunately for my mom, her water line from Ike was MUCH lower. Excellent shots!
