Description
Just a little bit of remembrance for those who have gone before. Remember also those who sacrifice so much to keep us safe and free to enjoy our art, photography, writing and fellowship.
Without the soldiers, sailors and airmen and women, the forces of darkness would overwhelm us. Without the police, firemen, and paramedics, we would find it difficult to feel secure. Without our forbearers, we would not exist.
To all of them, Thank You.
This is a photo I took today while placing flowers on our relatives’ graves. I wanted to give this a painterly feel, so I just ran it through a few filters in Photoshop, and applied a canvas texture.

amazing tribute,and yes we can bullshit around because other people sacrified their lives for us,and as far as i am concerned the younger generations dont pay enough respect they take all for granted the spoiled brats and even their assholish-parents,in any case thats where they learned their assholes-behavior-. sorry for the rough words but i call a spade a spade.

It's easy to forget those who serve, have served, and sacraficed all, when we fill our weekend with barbeque and beer. Thanks for giving us all pause to remember these brave men and women.
