Description
Camps Bay in Cape Town is fondly known as "Little South Beach"!!! (as in Miami) This small piece of beach is lined with pubs and restaurants and if you have been to both Miami's South Beach and Camps Bay, you can definitely 'feel' and see the resemblance!
It was already quite dark when I shot this image on Monday evening but the little borrowed point and shoot camera behaved very well! We went here for sundowners and dinner! It was a marvelous evening with loads of good Cape wine and fun! The mountain is actually the back side of Table Mountain and if you look carefully, you can see the cable car station at the top!
Stay well!

Looks impressive how the clouds come over the mountains. Excellent shot, fantastic mood and light.
Excellent contrast of light and dark, and sharp versus soft (meaning the low hanging cloud at the right) in this stellar borrowed aim and shoot camera capture, Carin! All this plus late night wine and song, leading to a wonderful and carefree time.
stunning seascape.I had a dream of seeing S. Africa when I was in high school
nice and romantic composition, pretty postcard :-)
Love the cloud. Great atmosphere.

Wonderful view.
What a stunning view.. Glorious.. Love the clouds streaming over the mountain.. Wonderful.. Rob
I missed this one somehow. Not surprising really. I miss a lot of things! Ah, but I caught up and saw it now! It's marvelous! I love the veil of clouds over the mountain and the town sitting just below, like it's squatting in comfortable shelter. I love the details and yeah, this looks like quite the relaxing place! Really fantastic work!
