Captured 5/10/10, at beautiful Legg Lake in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California.
Much better viewed full size.
Another visit with our fine feathered friends, this time them being caught in the act of beseeching for another crumb of bread.
Can you name the individual who originally uttered the famous plea posed in the title, and from what story/movie/play?

Wonderful collage Harry! Did that bottom goose just fly in from the Gulf of Mexico? Love the eyes and the ZOOM mode of the "teeth". Dana
Fantastic shots with excellent details and DOF. Zoom is a must here.
What wonderful detailed shots of these begging feathered friends Harry!! I particularly love the eye detail! I have never realized they have such stunning blue eyes! When I looked at the image the old song "Blue Spanish Eyes" jumped to mind!!
Excellent portraits!
Ah but, young Rosy didn't name the young actor who played Oliver Twist in the famous musical version, we all know and love.. That be! A young Mark Lester.. But, anyway, these are excellent close up's Harry.. Really good work.. I like the top one best.. Rob
