Patterns nature causes are quite beautiful but its a shame.. Probably caused by a marina being built down the coast a way.. Good photo my friend.. Rob

Mother Nature's urban renewal program! Which for the humans here, not in line with what they may want!
The beach where I walk so much has huge bluffs that are constantly on the move. It's one reason I rarely walk that way; between the moving mountains and high tide, it's not a great place to be often. Also the reason I walk along the dunes most of the time.
