That is really very moving, Ana. I can see the mixture of comedy and tragedy in a play, a play of life, with players and observers. It is very expressive in movement that you present, and yet contained. Powerful image, Ana!

I agree with Nikolai! So much space for imagination. This is alive and very, very beautiful work! You always show something special, and you always do it with elegant grace. This is as graceful as a dance, and it awakens many emotions. This is amazing work, as always. I love it!

ay...so many images I haven't commented on in your gallery, but you know how I feel about each one. I'll comment on this because it's about theater & art, and about dance too--and life. (Well, that covers everything! I guess I can go to sleep now, lol!) I see actors on a stage, and they seem intimately 'connected', like they're holding each other in a grand Dance. And I see a few people in the audience (in a chair); and they're beautifully placed at the bottom of the painting, huddled together & watching the stage. And lord, your blacks & grays---as Martin says, "they never miss to tell so much". You do such amazing things with blacks---and when you mix them with whites, you create such luminous grays! You do so much with b&w. And your brush-speech is, as ever, so powerful. Finally, you have your white washes---maybe the gouache--and they're thick and rich as always. And you always use empty space so well. This captures the enclausurar of the theater: that tight, enclosed & intimate feeling of being in an enclosed hall with so much activity on the stage. It's both confinado & electric---like the theater itself---and you did it all with blacks and whites! Wonderful Ana, and it's great to be in your gallery once more. Sorry I haven't been here very much! (desculpe!)
