Description
The second Cover Art Commission - which has just been released. Thanks so much for your comments on the last post. In this one, "Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, with Pepper as the men's adventure chronicler de jour; Captain Namor, with pointy ears, a grizzled look, and surely some kind of hidden secrets; Atlantis, Plato-style; and Baron Zemo and plenty of Nazis....More of an homage to the pulps and adventure serials." Really dynamic and dramatic.
I love the way she seems to be protecting Iron Man, especially with such a small gun. I'm also intrigued as to how you created the Iron Man, as I assume it is a 3D model but don't recognise it.

This one is awesome - I love Pepper in the foreground, like she is protecting him. I picked this issue up last Wed.
Amazing how one iconic little flag in the background sets the era for the piece (I guess the revolver would also give it away, but for me less so). Glorious representation of the genre. Gary
Congrats, once again, Mike. These are awesome! Its made me curious about the product and will have to check out the local comic store to see if they have it in stock. I like the freckles. I am curious about what's going on with the white material on his forearms. I can see the machine gun barrels on the outside but the interior forearms have something going on I can't quite imagine what it is supposed to be. I'm sure its all clear in the issue. Glad you're still posting here.
