Description
Twenty minutes after taking my last post, as I was heading back to my car, I checked out the nesting Black-necked Stilts nest. She was out looking for a snack and there was a single egg in the nest. Photo taken this morning. A must ZOOM image.

WOW....Great capture Dana, very nice nest, an excellent photo!
Wow! I hope nothing else finds the egg before she gets back! Great find!
Excellent!
how cute! great capture
Good clarity in this shot of the nest area, Dana. Very trusting mother to go out looking for a bite to eat while leaving her egg unattended, juicy pickings for any predator.
Very nice!
Amazing! What a great chance to capture this.
