yes that a good idea to do things with him. you both will not forget it and it will bond you both together. My son wish to go to Californa and he was going to ride the bus. i say i bring you in the car. He did not wish me to go for we did not have a good bond at all. the first two day we did not talk but then we did talk and we became close together. It still there today after 8 to 10 years. may be you can take a road trip right aqfter he gets out of school
