Well fellow browncoats... here is the first test shot of the train in it's entirity.
All I need now is a decent landscape and some utility poles....

Hmm, kind of looks like the prototype (with landscape) for Harry Reids mono rail to Las Vegas. ;) Nice modeling!!!!

Great modeling and texturing, and you never disappoint there, but I assume that this is to be a maglev sort of train. I think technically, that would put it much closer to the rail, but aestetically, too, dropping the train down some, might make it visually more part of the system, more integral, more powerful. This way it seems too detached, IMO.
