Description
This beautiful flower was produced this spring by a carniverous plant (S. flava - the Yellow Pitcher Plant).
The plant produces tall funnels with a wide variety of color variants but this year it has first produced this single flower that has a strong boxwood-like odour.
The stink hits you the minute you walk into our conservatory!

Very nice photo.
Wow! Stunning capture! I LOVE pitcher plants. They are so intriguing and come in so many different shapes and sizes! Oh...but didn't know they smelled bad, LOL. Well, it's a lovely flower anyway!
Fantastic flower and photo, Phil! I don't know this plant, but as he/she has just such bad smell.....nose close! (LOL) He looks a bit like an Iris.
