Please check out in larger size. I did a great deal of detail work to this one on so many levels. He had asked me about 4 months to do this commission, but life sort of kicked me in the ass at every turn. Teeson requested that I make his girls Cyberpunk'd. A bit of a challenge to convert Superheroes to Cyberpunk, but he gave me free rain to do with it as I pleased. The first issue is Cyberpunk itself. Cyberpunk is a gritty version of the future, and it usually involves the augmentation of human with mechanical extras. These extras can be cables, interfaces, weapons of any kind, replacing arms with robots, and so on. The list is pretty long as to what you can have done to yourself to advance science. I basically took the girls and thought "what would the girls look like if you stripped them down, and refit them? " Seraphim got new mechanical wings, arm reinforcements, and a more severe hair cut and color. Bea was given a more severe outfit, and a cybernetic face "mask". She was already Punk. It was just a matter of where to take her look. Hel was given a more goth look, metal head bank, data port on her neck, and Cyber arm blade. As for looks - Seraphim - is bit nuts. Died and came back Hel - cigar smoking bossy type. Bea - A bit of the crazed one. The overall postwork I had to do a bit of investigation to the color hues. The most consistent hues I notices where blues, greens, purples, and reds in more violent scene. I went with a blue hue to give it a bit of a darker mood. The flow of work: Set up Girls - morphs, clothing, poses, lighting, camera Rendering at 600DPI so I could fit to 300. Postwork: I probably spent 20+ hours on it. There are probably 30 to 50 different layers or more on this one. I think the master files is close to 100 Meg. I added some skin texture to ALL of the girls with some brushes from Nathie. The special effects of the glows were relatively easy once I figured out how to do it. The challenge was the auras "after" the image was created to blend it into the scene. Once I had that figured out, I didn't want the auras to be to powerful or they'd overpower the image. Seraphim was the real challenge because of her mauve aura. It tends to overpower everything. I added the cables, cyber stuff, and blended it together. Finally, I added the smoke to give it a bit more atmosphere. I was trying to pay attention to details specifically on the girls. The background was a minor issue since it set the mood the backdoor view of a club or other venue.
