In my opinion everyday should be Earth Day...
Last year I planted 11 trees, nine of them survived our harsh winter. I felt it important to plant the trees because I watch daily as trees in this town are cut down instead of trimmed, as children and adults destroy the beautiful flowers when they bloom and some even before they bloom. I know I have a tendency to get 'preachy' on this subject, but the earth in all her glory is so important...just a reminder today to take better care of her.
Health issues remain the same so I won't bore you with that, computer problems driving me crazy! I wish you all a wonderful day today and every day!

I completely agree...it should be necessary a greater sense of responsability from all, but how is difficult to imagine it... You have given a great contribute planting trees!

I've been planting seeds in my garden I do it every spring, but the squirrels keep digging them up, but I planted about 8 different varieties of flowers, and I always plant morning glories by the end of summer they are about taking over my yard I have to go out almost every other day to trim them back... Love your image here great Earth Day presentation. I agree lets take better care we only have one.
Good heavens, a veritable kaleidoscope of terrific images, colors and textures in this stunning image, dedicated to saving our planet from the daily ravages of mankind. I depict the fragility of our ecosystem by photographing as many flowers and trees and their bark as I can.
A wonderful image with a real natural feel to it. I love the way you have done the frame. I too get on my high horse when I see any trees being cut down and not replaced. The excuse here mostly is that they want more sun. Poor tree has put in so much effort to get to a decent size and then wham, down it comes. Not so good about your health but I hope you are having a better day today.
I try to live as though every day IS earth day and leave very little of myself as I go through life. This has a wonderful 60's look and feel and I like it very much.
