Description
These are the Santan Mountains about six miles south of Williams AFB (now closed). There is residential development now on the northern slopes of the mountains (facing Rittenhouse Road and the railroad to Magma).
View is toward the north and in the upper right corner are the Superstition Mountains. This picture was taken from a Bell 'Huey' with doors removed.
This picture was taken on 28 July 1992 and later scanned.
