This was taken right before the sun began to slip below the horizon, located just off to the left of the picture. We're looking north while standing on the western side of St. Joseph's Peninsula, about 60 miles south of Panama City, Florida. Such empty, almost pristine beaches are quite a rarity these days! This afternoon, about 2 weeks ago, had an almost cloudless sky. But nevertheless the time of day cast a bronze hue on everything. It's as dreamy and heavenly as it appears! Even more so standing there in the warm afternoon seabreeze. The only sounds to be heard were the seagulls, surf, and wind in your ears.
