I too am curious as to exactly what you were standing on, (or in) to get this shot. You are not in the center as the line to the vanishing point is more gradual on the right of the picture than it is on the left, but you definitely seem to be over water not land. Beautiful image! In this quiet scene there are hints of motion. The sun sinks towards the horizon. The clouds move gently across the sky and water. Something disturbs the water and sends bubbles and circular ripples to the surface. I can sense the change that you speak of. Changes in the light and shadows, causing changes in the colors and tones. Lovely capture of this moment in time.
