Description
I managed to get a few shots of something other than Dragonflies so far this year that I think are worth sharing.
Damselflies are closely related to Dragonflies but much much smaller. All Damselflies have separated eyes, while only a few of the Dragonfly species do. Damselflies generally hold their wings together over their backs while Dragonflies usually hold theirs outstretched.
I am at a loss to identify the different species of Damselflies except for a few very distinctive ones.
