Description
This thunderstorm is building over the Superstition Mountains on the eastern edge of the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix). In the foreground is Apache Junction.
This picture was taken on 28 July 1992 from an Arizona Army National Guard Bell Huey UH-1 helicopter and later scanned.
