Description
Un’altra immagine scattata mentre il ramarro si nascondeva e poi timidamente tornava fuori.
Circa 1 ora per fare una serie di scatti a varie distanze.
Another picture taken while the lizard was hiding and then timidly came back out. About 1 hour to make a series of shots at different distances.
The lizard is up to 40 cm long, tail length ranges from half to two thirds of that total. In the male the dorsal color is the bright yellow-green or green-grass, often with large black spots. The ventral side is pale yellow, in the breeding season the throat of the male is colored blue. The male also has the largest head and the tail thicker and more substantial than the female, the latter sometimes has a brown design on the back and a series of 2-4 longitudinal stripes or more white or yellowish less continuous. The coloring, however, varies not only with age and gender, but also with the village.
The lizard lives mainly in dry areas with sparse woods and bushes, the moors, and sometimes the edges of coniferous forests. He likes the flat regions. this Sauro climbs quickly and safely on the rocks and walls. It feeds mainly on insects and larvae
Good Sunday and good weekend

Titolo bellissimo :) Altra meravigliosa foto del ramarro! Grande definizione e splendidi colori!

Great shot
Oh boy, that's quite a long one! Hope it's not poisonous... Excellent shot!
I love the your previous image of his face, because it is comical and has so much character, but this is excellent as well! You have captured such amazing detail of his skin! Beautiful color! He shines like a jewel against the red background. I like the clarity of his eye. Your patience was richly rewarded. Lovely image! Amo il vostro precedente immagine del suo volto, perché è comico e possiede un carattere così tanto, ma questa è eccellente, come pure! Hai catturato tale dettaglio sorprendente della sua pelle! Beautiful colore! Egli brilla come un gioiello su sfondo rosso. Mi piace la chiarezza del suo occhio. La tua pazienza è stata abbondantemente premiata. Bella immagine!
An excellent pic!
