Description
Been saving every bit of photography history since the ripe age of 15 when I discovered the magic of thriftshops. I have many many cameras and MUCH old film and a zillion old flashbulbs. Someone has to protect them from being thrown in the trash by the regular people:) I still use some of the "accordian ones" for picture-taking. You just have to find 120 film and bend the metal ends in a bit:) Thanks for lookng- Cynthia....

oooh nice old cameras. I still have my polaroid somewhere..
Fascinating!
We used to have a Box Brownie; and at one time I had a folding camera that took size 118 film (quite large) which I could only get from the Kodak shop on Kingsway in London. I think all I have now is a Russian (wind-up) movie camera and a pre-war manual of photography; oh, and a slide viewer for which I can't get bulbs any more. The slide projector still works. hate to throw things away, and so much history gets scrapped!
Wow--the box camera on the left was my mom's and the one on the right was my dad's--you sure bring back some memories with this shot!!
WoW!! Nice camera ;)
This is terrific, interesting, unique and heart warming Cynthia. An outstanding capture. This turned out great. Wonderfully written. This is a real keeper. Brings back fond memories. The lighting is perfect. Really farout image. Huggs... Silkylady...
Ah, the "good" old days - spending hours in a dark room with funny-smelling chemicals..... How things change. I still have an old Kodak Brownie on my shelf. Cool look back into the recent history of photography.
Great cameras!
