I'm working on textures at the moment, and I thought I'd share this test render. It's a bit large, but you can see the details int he larger view.
PLUG ALERT!! I've been using Pd-Metals Poser Materials by Parrotdolphin in making the base for these textures, and they are outstanding! I've had to make a few comprimises to the more advanced settings so the DS MATS will look the same, but I think even with doing that they still work very well!
Rendered in Poser 7 with very basic lights, and the only postwork is a bit of color correction and sharpening in Photoshop CS3.

I'll second the Parrotdolphin plug and I honestly cannot wait for this set--can never have too much sci-fi. A V4 version would rock, too, :hint::hint:.
The only thing better than cool SF geometries is cool SF geometries with great texture work! The gun's metallics are totally rockin' world and the arm's displacement maps look great. I'm psyched you'll be doing DS MATs for this (even if you aren't psyched...).
